Coming from deep south of Europe Aspec(t) feat 70fps will perform in AAVE festival a trip/experiment of “listening of a vision”. Super 8 films manipulated live, light devices, electroacoustic systems of feedback, tapes, everything connected to generate a single body that goes beyond the audio-visual identities.

The super8 projector, the film and the image are used as instruments to produce and modify the light in real time. The image on the film is a filter or a tool to manipulate the light, not to reproduce images. Also mirrors and prisms are used. Musical instruments are used in an improper way: sax generates feedback, tape recorder is physically played as a traditional instrument; resonance effects are produced with the other machines on stage, just where the system is weaker and more instable. Through analog devices the image becomes light, the sound becomes tape or drum and the sensation becomes tangible matter.
