Frans Tihveräinen - Augmented reality

In this workshop hosted by Frans Tihveräinen, you will learn the basics of augmented reality (AR). The history and evolution of AR will be briefly covered, as well as multiple use cases and possibilities. Well what is AR anyway? In a nutshell, it is augmenting reality with digital overlay-material. With the help of this technology, it is possible to attach almost any type of digital media to printed graphic material. Many fresh AR-cases will be experienced, ideas will be thrown, and at the end, we will augment reality ourselves for real! The best AR-creation will be rewarded with a pair of movie tickets.

GROUP 1: SAT 12.4.2014, 12:00-16:00
GROUP 2: SUN 13.4.2014, 12:00-16:00

The workshop is held in Finnish. Enroll from 12.3 onwards by emailing frans@himmee.fi. Remember to state which group you wish to attend (max. 20 people/group) and title your message “AAVE AR”. Free entry!
